Google Plus and the Rel=Author Tag

In June of this year Google released a new rel=author tag so that writers will be able to claim authorship of their articles in search results. If you make use of this tag, your Google profile photo will be shown in the search results as well as your name, so this development should also be good for personal branding purposes, as I explain in a recent article about Google Plus that I published on my website.

The best thing to do is to hyperlink your keywords to help with SEO for your target web page.
